Shanghai, China — The Shanghai Disneyland is closing down for the winter.
It was shut down last summer for a major renovation, but the park was reopened this winter to allow it to return to its normal function of providing entertainment and experiences to the public.
When it opens again, it will be the biggest amusement park in the world.
Its operators have been trying to get the park back to its former glory.
They say it needs to reopen for its original purpose.
The park was opened to the general public in 2006 as a replacement for the Disneyland Paris, but has struggled financially.
The Chinese government has been tight-lipped about what the park is going to cost, or when it will reopen.
Since its opening, Shanghai Disneyland has become one of the biggest attractions in the country, and it is expected to become a major tourist attraction in the United States, with over 200,000 visitors annually.
On its website, ShanghaiDisneyland.com, the park says it will offer free rides, free admission, and special special experiences to visitors.
The Chinese government said on its website that the park will “open its doors for visitors in 2019.”
According to the Shanghai Disneyland, the city of Shanghai is in the process of developing its own amusement park.
Shanghai Disneyland will be able to expand its offerings to include “other special attractions, attractions, rides, and entertainment.”
