The first day of the Halloween celebration was the first of many days of terror, but in the last two days there has been a new, much more terrifying, terror in the city of Biloxi, Arkansas.
“We’re looking at a lot of people being shot at, so there are a lot more casualties than usual,” says James “Crazy Joe” Gannon, who was the city’s emergency medical coordinator for Halloween.
“The police are doing a lot better than usual, and we’ve seen the number of calls for help go down.
There’s a lot less violence.”
The number of emergency calls for police assistance has dropped from around 400,000 in the first two days of the celebration to about 20,000 today.
“It’s just one of those things that can change a day, but this one really changed the day,” Gannon says.
In the aftermath of the attack on the festival on October 31, police arrested 22 people and seized over 1,000 guns.
“This one has really turned things around,” G Cannon says.
“People are looking at us, and I think that’s helped our community a lot.
It has made us a better community.”
This is the second time in less than a year that a terror attack has struck Bilox, Arkansas, and it has taken many lives.
On October 29, a lone gunman opened fire on an amusement park in the town of Moultrie, killing three people and wounding two more.
On November 2, a gunman walked into a restaurant in Moultry, killing six people and injuring a dozen others.
The gunman was shot dead by police in Moltrie.
“This was a very targeted attack on a specific area,” Bilox Mayor Robert “Pete” McClellan says.
We have the capacity to protect this town.” “
We’re lucky that this didn’t happen here in Moultsville.
We have the capacity to protect this town.”
It has been almost three months since the shooting at the Moultriesville Town Center, which killed three people, but McClellans fears this could be the beginning of more violence in the community this time around.
“I don’t want people to go to town, to Moultre, to Bilox to do business,” he says.
